Sakatia Lodge
Sakatia Lodge offers a seafront location ideal for snorkelling.
It has its own scuba and training dive centre and over 20 dive sites to choose from.
Nosy Sakatia is just a short boat ride off Chanty Beach, Nosy Be and is home to one of the most popular lodges in the area. Sakatia Lodge is owned and managed by the Vieira family who have been in Nosy Be for over 12 years. The lodge is situated on a beach between a sacred forest and a small friendly fishing village with a mountain backdrop. Sakatia Lodge has 11 units varying from the small Mango Bungalows up to three-bedroom beachfront villas. Breakfast and dinner is offered in their dining room while cocktails and sundowners can be enjoyed in their beach bar. Whilst Sakatia Lodge is a great holiday destination for everyone its speciality without a doubt is their dive centre.
Just off the beach is great snorkelling and the new turtle sanctuary is within a short swim/walk from the lodge. Other activities include an educational guided walk from the lodge as well as a delightful, locally run beach restaurant. All the usual attractions are bookable from the lodge.
Room Types
Mango Bungalows – These four small bungalows surround a mango tree in which lemurs love to spend the afternoon in mango season. They are comfortable bungalows with small verandas, en-suite bathrooms and can sleep two guests in either double or twin beds. Priced @ Euro POR per person sharing per night with dinner and breakfast.
Ravinala Bungalows – These four larger bungalows have private verandas, en-suite bathrooms and can sleep 2 people in double/ twin beds with an option for an extra bed for a child up to 12 years old. Priced @ Euro POR per person sharing per night with dinner and breakfast.
Madiro - This bungalow is perfect for families and is situated in a private corner next to the Sacred Mountain. A large, double room bungalow with direct access to beach, private veranda, private sun-beds, bathroom with shower & toilet, hot water, fans. It has one queen size and two single beds. The normal capacity is 4 guests. There is an option for an extra bed for a child up to 12 years old. Priced @ Euro POR per person per night based on four people with dinner and breakfast.
