Born in Zambia in 1988, I did my schooling in Zimbabwe and I studied International Travel and Tourism Management & IATA Management in South Africa.

With childhood holidays in Malawi, Botswana, Namibia and Mozambique plus the fact that my travel agent aunt gave me a desk in her office whilst I was in primary school where I was expected to “work” - the travel bug was firmly under my skin.

After qualifying I worked at Flight Centre and in operations at a private air charter company. I then relocated to Cape Town where I was employed in a privately-owned travel company specialising in Madagascar. Other than quoting and preparing itineraries for clients, I was also able to travel to Madagascar three times to experience first hand the hotels and boats.

I am therefore one of very few people who know the destination on a personal level and have chosen for my portfolio the lodges and boats listed on my website.
